King’s way or Daang Hari is a fairly new access road that connects Muntinlupa City with the municipality of Bacoor Cavite. It stretches to almost 14km from end to end. The road consists of downhill and uphill climbs, high speed straights, high-speed corners, short burst straights and my favorite two almost corkscrew corners. You might ask, why is this douche talking like king’s way is like the newest rally course? You know why? Because the truth is the variety and technicality of this road can be compared to Rally Courses and there is a reason why and I know you will not like it.

Yes I know it sucks right? How to make money the smart way? Buy patches of land on a hilly area with no direct path or way to it for a lower appriased price then get elected as a senator and build roads going to your property then make subdivision. Sell it 10 times the price and voila! Monies!!

Truth to be told, Muntinlupa is very near Bacoor Cavite. We’ve heard from history class how the katipuneros walked from Manila to Cavite. Now why the hell does these two look so far away? We built crappy roads. If we build straight line roads Muntinlupa and Cavite is like less than 7 km away. But daang hari on the other hand crawled to all the subdivisions owned by the senator, thus, extending the travel from 7km to 14km.

Downside is the road has become a very dangerous road. Everyday I see car crashes left and right and to tell you the truth. I am getting a little scared going through King’s way. Also I don’t understand why the subdivision entrances and exits are all situated on the corners of the road. Blind spots are everywhere. Making it more dangerous because you’ll never know when a car will suddenly pop out from a blind sided exit.

Another thing I am worried about is that the road is now the favorite get away route of crooks and several shootouts between crooks and the police have already been reported this year. I just hope officials install street lights and traffic lights to help drivers in the area. Although you have to ask which office Alabang or Bacoor because these subdivisions are saying that they are still in alabang when the truth is the subdivisions are already in Cavite. Funny right?

Imagine if King’s way was made in a straight line, the amount of gas people will save. The amount of tires people will save. The accidents people can avoid. The time we all can save travelling half the distance. Don’t get me started with the houses and the hopes and dreams of people. I mean you can still make subdivisions right? You’ll just need a different road for that. That’s why there are intersections right? So that you can go to another direction and not make a road like a rollercoaster to accomodate your subdivisions. That is just greedy.
