Word for today is Wanting

Wanting to hold you, touch you and hold you more. I miss you honey.

My mind blanked.

71. Insightful YM Conversations with Someone

August 26, 2008

The night before Anne’s despedida, I had an interesting and very insightful conversation with one of my emo-est friends I have ever known. I don’t want to spoil it for you people and tell me what you think. So without furthur adieu here is the very interesting and insightful conversation:

Note: I have asked for his permission to post this although I  filtered out his name for his privacy because when you read this you’d want to stone him afterwards. (more…)

70. A Reunion of Sorts

August 25, 2008

One of my closest friends, Anne, came home after three long years staying in the “promised land”. I’d say she’s really been missed and it’s a good time for all of us to get together again for some fun and quality time. (more…)

69. Diet Update: Series part 3/3 What is my next battle plan

August 24, 2008

Yesterday I discussed that you can’t achieve that desired weight with diet alone. Diet has to come hand in hand with exercise. Carbo is the enemy. You cut off its supplies by dieting and eradicating the remnant carbos in your body by exercise. You’ll have nothing less than total domination! Cool isn’t it?

But like what I said in the introduction of the series, I haven’t achieved my target weight. Actually I’ve talked with my wife. She doesn’t want me to lose another 19lbs because she doesn’t want me to be too skinny. So in a way, I’ve reached my wife’s target weight for me. But I told her that I need an allowance for my weight. Besides, 185lbs is still overweight for my height (5’8”). (more…)

68. Diet Update: Series 2/3 What’s the next battle plan

August 23, 2008

Yesterday I talked about what I had to give up in order to lose weight. As I’ve before, diets are not a temporary, one time deal. In order for a diet to succeed one has to change everything. It’s a complete change of lifestyle really. But why not right? Why not change especially for our age? We’ve done everything and we’ve experience a lot. So why continue that path?

I know we won’t live forever. It was my battle cry before and actually, even now. We go when it’s our time, healthy or not. But what if we could improve the quality of life we have left here on this world? Wouldn’t that be something everyone would like to have? (more…)

Joel Avatari

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I am Joel and I am an alcoholic. My name? Joel Avatari. Yes, Avatari is my second name. That is why I am in i.ph because the url avatar.i.ph is so hard not to use. I live in the south side of the metro and I am not really a hardcore blogger. I blog when I have something to say or share. I also flame when I have to. In real life I am a work slave of an American company. I have been called an Asian monkey when I was in Australia and I I have hurled on the streets of clean Singapore. Oh did I forget to mention? I am Joel and I am who I am.
