59. New Blog Series: One Word Wednesdays
July 30, 2008Thank you for this wonderful gayish guy with faded boxers, I’ve thought of a recurring blog activity that will not just improve my writing, it might even wake up some atrophied brain cells that I seldon use.
For those who are clueless to what one word is all about, Oneword is a website that will give you one word per day and you’re given sixty seconds to write anything about the word. Cool huh? Here is an example of today’s word. Spark.
spark is a spark. what do you want from me? Wait here we go, it can be a noun! As in a name, like sparky! It can also be a verb, like sparks flew when we met eye to eye. It can also be an adjective, like you look sparkling.

I have to admit, I need practice. I blanked out when I saw the word. I urge everyone to try it! It’s fun!!

The exercise is a lot of fun. Every time I hit go, my mind goes blank! I can’t even form a sentence with the word. Seriously. Try it!!
