68. Diet Update: Series 2/3 What’s the next battle plan
August 23, 2008Yesterday I talked about what I had to give up in order to lose weight. As I’ve before, diets are not a temporary, one time deal. In order for a diet to succeed one has to change everything. It’s a complete change of lifestyle really. But why not right? Why not change especially for our age? We’ve done everything and we’ve experience a lot. So why continue that path?
I know we won’t live forever. It was my battle cry before and actually, even now. We go when it’s our time, healthy or not. But what if we could improve the quality of life we have left here on this world? Wouldn’t that be something everyone would like to have? (more…)
67. Diet Update: What I had to give up
August 22, 2008So a lot of people are inquiring as to how I miraculously slimmed down. Yeah I know. I sound conceited. But hey, cut me some slack, I did sacrifice a whole lot to lose that much poundage. As of today I’ve lost 38lbs and I can eat whatever I want. I only have 19lbs to go until I reach my desired weight. High five!
Aside from all praises people have given me, there are those who are still skeptical of my progress. A handful of people are saying harsh words like my weight will just bounce right back up or that I’ll plateau from now on and I will not break the 200lbs barrier. I just want to say thank you, because really, I strive harder with every word you good people say.
So in this here entry I will try to chronicle what sorcery I used to lose 38lbs in as short as two months! (more…)
66. Diet Update: Three part series starting tomorrow!!

Tomorrow, I will start a three part series that chronicles everything I have done to lose the excess weight in a very short span of only two months!!
Yes, I know I haven’t achieved my target weight yet. I am very optimistic though that it is possible. I know I can achieve it. Losing 38lbs in two months has given me the confidence to face the real challenge: Breaking the 200lbs mark! See, for the longest time I have been a two hundred pound heavy weight and for me to break that ceiling will certainly be a milestone in my life. Something I will not forget. (more…)
65. One word Wednesdays on a Thursday!
One word thursdays? Yeah, my blog was down for like the entire day yesterday. So I’m doing one word wednesday on a thursday. Awesome ain’t it?
Word for today:
Asking is something one does when one needs something from someone be it material things or not. Also, it can be used as an expression usually associated with dealing with abusive people i.e. I punched you because you were asking for it.
Closes thing to a “non fail” since I started one word wednesdays if I do say so myself.
64. Diet Update: Winning over temptations

Wednesday I woke up and got out of my bed. I went out to pee and drink a glass of water. Even though we played badminton “like there’s no tomorrow” the night before, I felt good. I felt light and had a lot of energy. My mom unexpectedly told me to hop on the weighing scale which was kind of weird considering how she was looking at me. I pulled out the bathroom weighting scale and voila! I weighed an astounding 204lbs!! The news shocked my mom because I lost six pounds in just five days. (more…)
